Our Small School uses outdoor space and our natural world as our best classrooms.  Our homebase is at our home in the Arcade Creek Neighborhood.

Our Kinder and Preschool Co-op are Waldorf inspired. Acorns are 2-3 years old.  Oaks are 4-5 years old at the beginning of the year.  We have a rhythm for the day that incorporates songs, stories, handwork, games and playing as a member of our community.   Part of our curriculum is serving and eating a nutritious snack.  We incorporate lots of gross motor skill development and language in our days.  

Preschool aged, Acorns, explorers follow a more self-directed flow in their rhythm here, which can be called Reggio Emilia.  Our greater focus at this age is to cooperatively become part of social community as we play.

Our Grove schedule is being developed along with community interests.  We offer academic extensions if your family would like to dive into letter learning, Math, Reading, Art or Nature Exploring.  We plan to have weekly meetups where our learners can regularly build relationships with peers and form a community.  

Families are welcomed to join in the fun.  All regular community aids will need a background check and cooperative learning training.

We follow science and best practices along with our heads and hearts.
